Important! As juveniles, they are just starting to get a small hint of their final bright red coloration. Some will show a small amount of blue as juveniles and some will have a little patterning. The background coloration as juveniles is a greenish/grey. They will showing areas of the red coloration (20-30%) at around 3 inches. They will start showing some of the deep red coloration at around 4 inches with 30-50 percent body coverage.They will not be mostly solid red with almost no pattern until they are about 6 inches. These will be between 2.25 to 2.75 inches with most of them being 2.5 inches. We are always willing to try and sex our fish for a customer, but we do not guarantee it. All Discus are unique and the coloration/pattern of each can vary. The Discus you are purchasing is a juvenile. Discus will not show their full pattern and final coloration as in the picture until fully mature at around 5-6 inches.
