Full coloration and pattern will not fully show until they are adults. Their juvenile coloration is quite often significantly different than mature adults. As juveniles they usually have a beautiful orange to gold-red coloration. They will become much more red as they mature. The amount of patterning will vary significantly with some having very little pattern. The picture is of an adult. Juvenile coloration will vary widely. They will not have their full adult coloration until they are 6 inches. We are always willing to try and sex our fish for a customer, but we do not guarantee it. All Discus are unique and the coloration/pattern of each can vary.
