The size of the these will be between 1.5 and 2.25 inches with most being right around 2 inches. Full coloration and pattern will not fully show until they are adults. As juveniles they have a beautiful Aqua Blue coloration with the coloration being more of a blue when very small juveniles, but are showing almost none of the pattern. The Brilliant Sapphire Tiger Discus is a very late developing Discus. They will not start showing the pattern until they are 3-4 inches.The pattern will increase as they mature and will be full at six inches. The picture is of an adult. Juvenile coloration and pattern will vary. These are not derived from the Pigeon Blood strain and will not have any peppering. Sexing mature Discus is difficult and sexing juvenile Discus extremely difficult. We are always willing to try and sex our fish for a customer, but we do not guarantee it. All Discus are unique and the coloration/pattern of each can vary. The Discus you are purchasing is a juvenile. The Brilliant Sapphire Tiger Discus will not show their full pattern and final coloration as in the picture until fully mature at around 6 inches.
