These are really cool. One of My personal favorites. This is not a hybrid. The flourescent blue was developed through selective breeding. The Electric Blue Jack Dempsey is probably the most stunning and vividly blue fish there is. Small Electric Blue Jack Dempsies already show the stunning coloration and pattern and it only gets brighter and more vibrant as they grow. The Electric Blue Jack Dempsey is semi aggressive and can be kept with a wide range of other fish. They can be kept with discus. They can also be kept with aggressive Cichlids as long as there are plenty of hiding places. They are not shy and will stay at the very front of your tank most of the time. They are very hardy and will tolerate a wide range of conditions. They do well at a temp of 74 to 86 degrees and a Ph of 6.5 to 7.3. They will eat just about anything and love to eat out of your hand.
